Teide Stargazing No Pick-Up – Policy
💳 Deposit & Payment
- You confirm your place with a 20€ deposit per person. It counts toward the total.
- Pay the remaining 30€ per person in cash to the guide at check-in in Chío.
- The deposit secures your reservation. It does not cover late cancellations or no-shows.
- Please check your confirmation email after booking and report any errors immediately.
🗓️ Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation: up to 48 hours before the tour for individuals and groups under 5.
- Groups ≥5: free cancellation up to 4 days before.
- Groups ≥10: free cancellation up to 7 days before.
- If cancelled after the free period, the deposit is lost and additional costs may apply.
- No refund for no-shows or same-day cancellations.
❗ Late Cancellation Fees
- Individuals & groups <5: cancel 11–47 h before = lose 50% of deposit + 50% of remaining balance. Cancel <11 h = lose full deposit + full remaining balance.
- Groups ≥5: cancel 24 h–3 days before = lose 50% of deposit + 50% of remaining balance. Cancel <24 h = lose full deposit + full remaining balance.

🌦️ Weather & Operations
- Tours depend on suitable skies. If the astronomer decides conditions are not safe or not enjoyable, you will be rescheduled or fully refunded.
- We aim to notify you at least 2 hours before start time if weather forces a cancellation. If you do not hear from us, the tour runs.
- The exact stargazing spot in Teide National Park may change due to clouds or wind. Self-drive guests follow the guide’s van (~20–30 min).
⏰ Late Arrivals & Missed Meeting
- Arrive on time at Chío Recreational Area. Reception in the park is limited once the group departs.
- If you are late, we will try to help. In the worst case, you can take a taxi at your own cost to the first stop to catch up. If joining is not possible, late-cancel fees apply.
- Keep the phone number you provided reachable on the day. The guide usually communicates via WhatsApp.
⚖️ Responsibility & Conduct
- This self-drive option joins our small-group stargazing. Club Canary works with licensed local partners.
- Please follow safety instructions and drive carefully in convoy. Disrespectful behavior may lead to exclusion without refund.
- Any on-site issue should be raised immediately with the guide for the fastest resolution.
📷 Photos
- The guide often shares complimentary photos within 3–4 days. This is a free extra, not a paid service, and cannot be guaranteed.
- Please do not contact Club Canary about photo delivery. The guide will message you directly.
🌿 Environmental Care
- Protect Teide’s night environment: no littering, keep to marked areas, minimise light and noise. Bins are available in the park.
- Bring your own warm jacket, hat, and gloves if possible. Limited spares may be lent by the guide when available.
