Tenerife Island Tour Without Teide, Quick Facts
Tenerife Island Tour, Without Teide
A full-day island tour for people who have already seen Teide, or who want to skip the volcano and see something different. Instead of the usual Teide route, this day takes you through the north and west of Tenerife: the dramatic Los Gigantes cliffs, a viewpoint over Garachico, the thousand-year-old dragon tree at Icod de los Vinos, the historic town of La Orotava, free time in Puerto de la Cruz, and the famous Candelaria basilica. You travel by comfortable air-conditioned coach with a guide, and no driving. It runs once a week.
Already done Teide? This is the day that shows you the rest of the real island.
See Tenerife Beyond Teide
This island tour is made for travellers who have already visited Teide, or plan to do it separately. Instead of repeating the same volcano route, it focuses on the north and west of Tenerife, the greener, more cultural side, so you see something completely different. Each stop has its own character, from historic towns to coastlines shaped by volcanic history.
Your day begins with a comfortable hotel pickup in the south, followed by a planned route through some of the island's most scenic and cultural spots, with a guide sharing the history along the way.

No, this tour does not go to Teide. That is the point of it. It is made for people who have already seen the volcano, or want to skip it, and instead see the north and west of the island. If you have not done Teide yet, our separate Teide and Masca tour is the one to start with.
What do you see on the island tour without Teide?
The tour goes through the north and west: the dramatic Los Gigantes cliffs, a viewpoint over Garachico, the thousand-year-old dragon tree at Icod de los Vinos, the historic town of La Orotava with the Casa de los Balcones, free time in Puerto de la Cruz for lunch, and the Candelaria basilica. Please note it no longer goes to Masca.
Which days does the tour run?
This tour runs once a week, so the dates are limited. Your exact date and pickup are shown when you book and confirmed on your ticket. If your preferred date is not available, message us and we will help.
What language is the tour in?
The tour is always available in English. Other languages such as German, French, Italian, Spanish and sometimes Dutch may be available depending on the date and the guide, but they cannot be guaranteed. In high season there are often more languages. Check with us for your date.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
Deposit And Payment
- You reserve with a small deposit. You pay the rest on the day. The deposit is part of the total price.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 people: free up to 48 hours before the trip.
- 4 to 7 people: free up to 4 days before.
- 8 or more people: free up to 7 days before.
- Big groups are hard to refill at the last minute. That is the only reason. If your group only gets smaller, tell us at least 48 hours before and we lower the price. To cancel, email office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- You cancel after your free window, but more than 24 hours before? You lose your deposit. You pay nothing more.
- You cancel between 12 and 24 hours before? You lose your deposit, and you still pay 80% of the rest. We send you a payment link.
- You cancel less than 12 hours before, you do not show up, or you arrive too late? You lose your deposit, and you still pay the full rest. We send you a payment link.
- Our partner charges us the full price for your reserved places either way. That is why the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
The Only Exception
- The only exception is a real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot join. It must have a date from before the trip, or the same morning. A paper made after the trip does not count. We need this document for our partner. Feeling unwell without this paper is not enough for a refund. We know this is strict, and we are sorry, but it is the only way we can protect against last-minute cancellations.
Missing The Bus
- During the tour you get free time at some stops. Your guide tells you a clear time to be back. If you are not back in time, the bus leaves and you do not get money back. Every bus has GPS, so we can check all pickups.
By Booking You Accept This
By booking with Club Canary, you confirm you have read and accepted this policy. It is not to make things difficult. It is what lets us offer easy booking with a small deposit in advance. A deposit alone does not cover the cost of a no-show or a last-minute cancellation. That is why these terms exist. If something genuinely goes wrong, talk to us. We will always try to find a fair solution.

Club Canary's Final Word
Real talk from your local team in the Canary Islands
This tour is made for travellers who want to see more of Tenerife after already doing Teide. It is a completely different side of the island, focused on culture, history and the scenic north and west, rather than the volcano. Los Gigantes, Icod's dragon tree, La Orotava and Candelaria are all worth the day.
Be honest with yourself first, though. This is a full day on a coach with stops along the way, and it runs once a week, so the dates are limited. It is not about being fancy, it is about seeing the island in a complete, relaxed way without renting a car.
If you want the real Tenerife beyond the usual Teide route, this is a smart day to book.
