At Club Canary, we strive to make luxury car rental a seamless and enjoyable experience. Here’s everything you need to know before renting the Jaguar in Tenerife:

Delivery Across All Canary Islands

While Tenerife is the main base for luxury car rentals, Club Canary’s partner offers delivery to other Canary Islands for an additional fee. The cost depends on the rental duration, season, and delivery timing. For further details, please contact us directly.

Payment Policy

For our exclusive luxury cars, the balance must be paid in advance, according to the total amount:

• Under 1800€: Payment due at least 4 days before the rental start date.
• 1800€–4000€: Payment due at least 7 days before the rental start date.
• 4000€–7000€: Payment due at least 10 days before the rental start date.
• Above 7000€: Payment due at least 14 days before the rental start date.

Payments can be made via bank transfer. If you’re in Tenerife, one of our team members can collect the payment in person, or you can visit our office to pay in cash.

Kilometer Policy

Our rentals include plenty of kilometers to explore Tenerife extensively. Additional kilometers are charged at 3€ per kilometer. The included kilometer allowance varies depending on the rental duration, so please check the details in the car description when booking.

Safety Deposit

A safety deposit is required for all luxury car rentals:

• Payable by cash or card at delivery.
• Fully refundable after the car is returned in good condition.
• Covers potential incidents such as traffic fines, lost keys, or damage not included in the insurance.

Getting Your Car

• Free delivery to hotels or specified locations in South Tenerife.
• For non-hotel stays, choose a nearby well-known meeting point.
  Deliveries to North Tenerife (e.g., Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz) are available for rentals longer than 3 days, with fees starting at 125€.
• Ensure timely arrival for pick-up and keep your phone handy for communication.

Rental Duration

• Minimum rental period: 24 hours.
• Shorter durations are not available, or at least no discounts are offered for shorter rentals.

Gasoline Policy

• Cars must be returned with the same fuel level as when delivered.
• Most cars are delivered with minimal fuel, so refueling shortly after pick-up is typically necessary.
• Delivery staff will provide instructions on the correct fuel type and direct you to the nearest station.

Restrictions

• Off-road driving is strictly prohibited and not covered by insurance.
• Improper use (e.g., drifting) or lost keys are not covered.
• Avoid leaving valuables in the car to prevent theft.
• Report any damage or incidents immediately for assistance.

Cancellation Policy

• 25+ Days Before Booking Date: 50% of the 20% downpayment will be refunded (10% of the total booking amount).
• 14–25 Days Before Booking Date: Entire downpayment (20% of total booking amount) is non-refundable.
• 5–14 Days Before Booking Date: Entire downpayment is non-refundable, plus 20% of the total booking amount will be forfeited.
• 1–5 Days Before Booking Date: Entire downpayment is non-refundable, plus 75% of the remaining balance is non-refundable.
• Less than 24 Hours or No-Show: Entire downpayment and full remaining balance are non-refundable. Exceptions may apply in extreme scenarios, subject to approval by Club Canary’s partner.

Breakdowns During Rental

• Roadside assistance is included.
• If a breakdown occurs, contact your designated person immediately.
• A replacement car, repairs, or compensation will be arranged as appropriate.
