La Gomera Small Group Tour, Max 18 Guests
Most trips to La Gomera go with 45 to 50 people on a big coach. That means slow pickups, waiting for everyone, big tourist menus, and less time at the real spots. This small group version fixes that: a maximum of 18 guests, fast pickups, an official guide, flexible photo stops, better viewpoints and better food choices. Yes, it costs more than the basic coach tour, but the day feels completely different.
Comfort Over Crowds
You travel in an air-conditioned minibus, not a full-size coach, so the guide has time for your questions and the group moves quickly between stops. It is the relaxed way to explore the island, made for couples, friends and families who want quality over queues.

What Is The Best Way To See La Gomera From Tenerife?
It depends on what matters most to you, and we will be straight about it. If you want comfort, a small group and more time at the real spots, this minibus day trip is the one, with a maximum of 18 guests and an official guide. If the lowest price matters more than space and speed, our standard coach day trip to La Gomera is cheaper, on a big coach with a larger group, longer waits and a fixed lunch menu. Both see the island, they just feel different, and we would rather help you pick the right one than oversell.

Why Is This The Best Way To Visit La Gomera From Tenerife?
Small group max 18, fast ferry from Los Cristianos, and an official guide. You spend more time exploring and less time waiting for a big coach.
Is La Gomera A “Must-Do” From Tenerife?
If it’s your first time on Tenerife, explore Tenerife first. When you want a second island in one day, this VIP small group tour is the best choice.
Why Do Bloggers And Tour Sites Push La Gomera So Much?
Because many La Gomera tours are higher-priced, they often bring higher commissions. We keep it honest: great trip for quality seekers and repeat visitors, but not a must for every first-timer.
What Days Does The Tour Run?
Tuesday and Thursday only. Seats are limited to 18, so book early.
Where Is Pickup And What Time?
Pickup in Costa Adeje, Las Américas, Los Cristianos between 08:20–08:50. Staying in the north or outside the area? Meet at the Fred. Olsen ticket office (Los Cristianos port) at 09:00.
Do I Need Hiking Gear?
No. This is not a hiking tour. Short, easy paths in Garajonay are fine with normal shoes.
Is Lunch Included?
No, by design. We stop at a local restaurant so you choose what you like. Prices in La Gomera are friendly, and quality is better than a fixed “menu for 50.”
What’s The Group Size And Why Not A Big Bus?
Max 18 people. Big buses (around 50) mean long hotel rounds and slower stops. Small group = faster logistics and more views.
Can You See Dolphins On The Ferry?
Yes, there’s a good chance during the Tenerife ↔ La Gomera crossing. Sightings are common but never guaranteed.
How Do Payments Work?
Adults 145€ (pay 40€ now, 105€ on the day). Children 3–11 130€ (pay 30€, then 100€). Every 3rd person in one booking gives 10€ off the total.
What Documents Do I Need?
Bring a passport or EU ID for the inter-island ferry. Without it you cannot board. If you arrive without valid ID and miss the tour, this counts as a no-show under our terms. Your deposit is not refunded, and the remaining on-arrival amount is still due. Please double-check IDs for everyone in your booking before pickup.
What If I Cancel Last Minute, Don’t Show Up, Or I’m Sick?
Short answer: no refund, and the remaining on-arrival amount is still due for late cancellations and no-shows. This is an exclusive small-group tour with limited seats. Only exception: if you provide an official doctor or hospital letter stating the named traveler cannot attend, we can review a waiver for that person only. It does not apply to the whole group. For exact timing and fees, please see the Policy section on this page.
Is This La Gomera Trip New? Why Haven’t I Seen It Before?
Yes. This La Gomera VIP Small Group Tour is a new option we began offering in mid-September 2025. Depending on when you’re reading this, it may still be relatively new. It runs through a small network of trusted partners, so you won’t find it with every agency. That’s also why places can sell out quickly. If your date is full, check nearby dates or contact Club Canary for alternatives.
Can I Join This La Gomera Tour If I Am Already Staying In La Gomera?
Yes. Guests staying in La Gomera can join the VIP tour for a special 95€ direct-arrival price. Simply meet the group at 10:45 at the San Sebastián bus stop. No hotel pickups on the island.
Is This Really The Best La Gomera Small Group Tour?
For people who want fewer crowds, fast logistics, and real viewpoints, yes. No big coach, no long pickup rounds, just a smooth island tour with an expert guide.
How Much Time Do We Spend At The Main La Gomera Highlights?
Expect easy mini-walks in Garajonay, a photo stop at Roque de Agando, and relaxed time in San Sebastián. No rushing and no long waits for large groups.
Is This La Gomera Day Trip Good For Families?
Yes. Only short, easy walking. Families love the small-group comfort, the minibus, and the flexible pace.
La Gomera Day Trip Booking And Cancellation Policy
Deposit And Payment
- You reserve with a small deposit. You pay the rest on the day. The deposit is part of the total price.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 people: free up to 72 hours before the trip.
- 4 to 7 people: free up to 5 days before.
- 8 or more people: free up to 8 days before.
- Big groups are hard to refill at the last minute. That is the only reason. The ferry tickets are bought in advance in your name. If your group only gets smaller, tell us at least 48 hours before and we lower the price. To cancel, email office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- You cancel after your free window, but more than 24 hours before? You lose your deposit. You pay nothing more.
- You cancel between 12 and 24 hours before? You lose your deposit, and you still pay 80% of the rest. We send you a payment link.
- You cancel less than 12 hours before, you do not show up, or you arrive too late? You lose your deposit, and you still pay the full rest. We send you a payment link.
- Our partner charges us the full price for your reserved places either way. That is why the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
The Only Exception
- The only exception is a real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot join. It must have a date from before the trip, or the same morning. A paper made after the trip does not count. We need this document for our partner. Feeling unwell without this paper is not enough for a refund. We know this is strict, and we are sorry, but it is the only way we can protect against last-minute cancellations.
The Ferry And Pickup
- If you miss the ferry, you do not get money back. Hotel pickup is free where we offer it. If you are not on a pickup route, please go to the harbour yourself in good time.
By Booking You Accept This
By booking with Club Canary, you confirm you have read and accepted this policy. It is not to make things difficult. It is what lets us offer easy booking with a small deposit in advance. A deposit alone does not cover the cost of a no-show or a last-minute cancellation. That is why these terms exist. If something genuinely goes wrong, talk to us. We will always try to find a fair solution.

Club Canary's Honest Take
Real talk from your local team in the Canary Islands
If you want to see La Gomera without the stress of a big coach, long pickups or a crowd of fifty, this small group day trip is the one we point people to. It is fast, comfortable and works for couples, friends, families, and travellers already staying on La Gomera itself.
Club Canary is one of the few official partners for this trip, so booking here is safe and reliable. It rarely cancels, runs only twice a week, and usually fills up, so locking in your spot early is the smart move. One honest reminder: if you start in Tenerife, bring your passport or EU ID, because no ID means no ferry.
