Guests in the Puerto de la Cruz area pay the 74€ adult ticket which covers the longer pickup route. Last-minute bookings or walk-ins to the marina may not include pickup, so booking ahead is the only way to secure it. Prefer to come direct? No, you do not need to swim. The submarine is a real underwater vehicle, you stay dry the entire time. The cabin is fully enclosed and pressurised. You sit in your assigned window seat from start to finish.

The submarine goes underwater, so weather almost never affects the dive. Conditions below the surface stay calm even when the surface is choppy. Cancellations are very rare and only happen when the submarine operator decides it is not safe to sail, for example in very rough sea conditions or due to a technical issue on their side. The decision to cancel is made by the operator, not the client. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a free reschedule to another day, no fees. If the operator confirms the trip is going ahead, the client cannot cancel for “bad weather” and ask for a refund. We confirm the day before if conditions are uncertain.
