How Much Is The Open-Top Teide and Masca Tour?
Simple and the same for everyone. 80€ per person, adults and children alike. You pay a 22€ deposit online to reserve, and the 58€ balance in cash on the bus on the day. Groups of 4 or more adults get a reduced price at booking.
⚠️ Important to know before you book
- Balance is cash only: the 58€ remaining is paid to the guide on the bus. There is no card machine on board.
- Lunch is not included: there is a short tasting stop in Guia de Isora with local products, but it is not a meal. Eat before or bring something.
- Cable car is not included: some guests may have cable car tickets booked separately, and the group waits while they go up. Want it included? Contact us before booking (details below).
The Teide Cable Car, What You Need To Know
The cable car (Teleferico) is not included in the tour price. If you want to go up, it must be arranged separately before the tour date. On the day, guests who have tickets go up while the rest of the group waits at the park. If you do not have a ticket, no problem, Teide National Park is a highlight on its own, with plenty of time for photos, a walk and a coffee.
Important: the cable car frequently closes due to wind or weather, which is completely normal and out of anyone's control. Tickets are usually non-refundable once bought close to the tour date, so keep that in mind.

Before You Book, Schedule, Pickup And What To Bring
Everything you need to know before your open-top Teide and Masca day out. Read through this and the day runs smoothly.
🕐 Schedule: pickup starts around 09:00, with your exact time confirmed after booking. You are back in the south around 16:30, which can vary a little with traffic. Look for the open-top panoramic bus, we send you the exact details after booking so it is easy to spot.
📍 Pickup areas: available from the main tourist areas in the south of Tenerife. Pickup is normally not available from Los Gigantes, Palm Mar, Golf del Sur, El Medano and the Santa Cruz area. Leave your hotel name in the booking notes, not an address, and we confirm the exact meeting point after booking.
💳 Payment on the day: book with a deposit through Club Canary and pay the balance in cash on the bus. Cash only, there is no card machine, so bring the balance with you.
🌋 Teide National Park: free time for photos, viewpoints, a short walk and a coffee. The views open right up on a clear day.
🛤 Cable car (optional): not included in the price. Some guests book it separately and the group waits while they go up. It often closes for wind or weather, and tickets are usually non-refundable close to the date.
🍽️ Lunch break: a lunch break is in the schedule, but lunch itself is not included. Buy food at a local restaurant during the break or bring your own.
🧥 What to bring: warm clothing, as Teide can be cold even on a sunny day, comfortable shoes for short walks, your Club Canary ticket, and cash for the balance and any purchases.
♿️ Accessibility: the bus has no toilet on board and is not wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility or hearing needs, mention this in your booking notes and we will do all we can to seat you well.

Open-Top Bus Booking And Cancellation Policy
Deposit And Payment
- You reserve with a small deposit. You pay the rest on the day. The deposit is part of the total price.
Your Free Cancellation Window
- 1 to 3 people: free up to 48 hours before the trip.
- 4 to 7 people: free up to 4 days before.
- 8 or more people: free up to 7 days before.
- Big groups are hard to refill at the last minute. That is the only reason. If your group only gets smaller, tell us at least 48 hours before and we lower the price. To cancel, email office@clubcanary.com.
After Your Free Window Closes
- You cancel after your free window, but more than 24 hours before? You lose your deposit. You pay nothing more.
- You cancel between 12 and 24 hours before? You lose your deposit, and you still pay 80% of the rest. We send you a payment link.
- You cancel less than 12 hours before, you do not show up, or you arrive too late? You lose your deposit, and you still pay the full rest. We send you a payment link.
- Our partner charges us the full price for your reserved places either way. That is why the deposit alone can never cover a late cancellation.
The Only Exception
- The only exception is a real doctor or hospital paper that says you cannot join. It must have a date from before the trip, or the same morning. A paper made after the trip does not count. We need this document for our partner. Feeling unwell without this paper is not enough for a refund. We know this is strict, and we are sorry, but it is the only way we can protect against last-minute cancellations.
Missing The Bus
- During the tour you get free time at some stops. Your guide tells you a clear time to be back. If you are not back in time, the bus leaves and you do not get money back. Every bus has GPS, so we can check all pickups.
By Booking You Accept This
By booking with Club Canary, you confirm you have read and accepted this policy. It is not to make things difficult. It is what lets us offer easy booking with a small deposit in advance. A deposit alone does not cover the cost of a no-show or a last-minute cancellation. That is why these terms exist. If something genuinely goes wrong, talk to us. We will always try to find a fair solution.

This is one of the better shared tours available for Teide and Masca. The open-top bus is a real upgrade from a standard coach, the group is smaller, and the route goes straight to the two places most people actually want to see. No spending half the day driving around hotels for pickups.
A couple of honest things. Lunch is not included, so eat before or bring something, and the tasting stop is a nice touch but not a meal. And if some guests have cable car tickets, there is waiting time at Teide while they go up. If you love Teide and want to walk the park, that is a bonus. If you just want a few photos and to move on, the wait can feel long.
For bigger groups or anyone who wants more flexibility, our private Masca, Garachico and Teide tour is the better call. But for a solo traveller, couple or small family who wants a quality day out at a fair price, this one delivers.
