On one day the Atlantic Star sailing yacht is yours alone: your group, your captain and host, the resident pilot whales, a swim stop, food and drinks, from Puerto Colón. On another day a private van collects you at your hotel for a private stargazing night on Mount Teide: your own guide, your own telescopes, a sunset picnic, no strangers. One booking, up to 10 guests, cheaper than booking the two private experiences separately.

How Much You Save With The Private Package
Booked separately, a couple pays 1,080€ for the two private experiences. In the package, 1,020€.

Per person, the maths gets interesting. The boat is priced per boat, not per guest. Two guests pay 510€ each for two private days. Six guests pay about 206€ each. Ten guests pay about 164€ each, for a private yacht and a private night sky. All ten rows, 1 to 10 guests, are in the booking calendar.
Why it is cheaper. Because you book two private experiences at once, in one order, and we can plan both days together. The two experiences cost exactly what they cost on their own pages; the package is simply the cheaper way to book both.
The one rule. The discount is for booking both days. Cancel one of them later and the day you keep goes back to its normal price. Written out in the Policy below.

Give us your hotel for the stargazing pick-up. You pay a deposit now and the rest on each day: 300€ on board the boat, the stargazing balance in cash to the guide. A private van collects you in the south, sunset and a tapas picnic at a viewpoint on the western slope, then the telescope session higher up, normally in Teide National Park. About 5 hours, English speaking guide, back around 22:45 in summer. Pay the stargazing balance in cash to the guide. Everything about this night.
Why A Private Package, And Why Only This One
Private experiences are the hardest thing to combine, because every one of them needs an operator to block a whole boat or a whole evening for you. Most agencies will not even try. We can, because both of these are ours to book every week, both operators know us by name, and our office in Costa Adeje locks both days for you within 24 hours. That is why this is the only private combination we sell, and why we price it honestly instead of dressing it up.
Two honest things. The Atlantic Star is a comfortable sailing yacht, not a polished motor yacht; if you want gleaming decks and a flybridge, the Tigresa is your boat. And the stargazing picnic is a picnic, not a plated dinner, served on a folding table outdoors. The private stargazing page has six honest points worth reading before you book. Good To Know Before You Book The Private Package

Payment: A deposit online confirms the package. The rest is paid on the two days, exactly the normal balance of each private experience: 300€ on board the boat (preferably cash), and the stargazing balance in cash to the guide, there is no card machine on the mountain. Both amounts for your group size are shown next to the option before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email.
Why A Deposit: Because it keeps booking ahead easy. You lock a whole boat and a whole evening now, while they are still free, and pay the balance when you are here. Same system as every Club Canary trip.
Choosing Your Days: Two different days, each at least 8 days after booking. Boat early in the holiday, stars not on your last night. Both days are confirmed by our office within 24 hours; if one is full we offer the nearest alternative first. Private stargazing dates go fast in high season, two weeks ahead is safe.
The Boat Day: Puerto Colón, Costa Adeje, Gate 0, in front of the Yubari sushi restaurant. Sailing at 09:30 or 12:30, about 3 hours, the whole yacht yours. Be at the gate 15 minutes before. Swimwear, towel and sunscreen. The boat runs on a strict schedule and cannot wait.
The Stargazing Night: Pick-up follows the sunset, around 18:15 in summer and earlier in winter, confirmed by email; the guide sends his live location by WhatsApp on the way. Sunset and picnic at a viewpoint on the western slope above Guía de Isora, telescope session higher up, normally in Teide National Park, the guide picks the clearest sky. Back about 5 hours later. Warm layers and closed shoes. Keep your phone active on the day.
Guests: 1 to 10, your group only on both days. Children count as guests. Under 1 year: ask us first. More than 10: email us.

What is included in the private whale watching and stargazing package in Tenerife?

Is the private package cheaper than booking the two private experiences separately?
Yes, for every group size from 1 to 10 guests. The saving grows with the group, and the exact amount is shown on this page next to each option. The package price is lower than the two private experiences added together, because you book both with us at once. If you later cancel one of the two days, the day you keep goes back to its normal private price, so the discount only applies while you keep both.

It is the most romantic two days we sell. A sailing yacht for two with a swim in a calm bay and cava on deck, then a private sunset picnic on the mountain and a telescope that is yours for the night, with no strangers on either day. How far in advance do I need to book the private package?
At least eight days before the first day, because two operators have to free a whole boat and a whole evening for you. Club Canary confirms both days by email within 24 hours. If one of your days is full, we offer the nearest alternative before anything is final, and if nothing suits you, your deposit is refunded in full. In high season, two weeks ahead is the safe choice for the private stargazing.
Do the two days have to be on the same day, and which days should I choose?
They are always two different days. Book the boat early in your holiday and the stargazing before your last night, so there is still a spare evening if the sky is cloudy. The boat sails at 09:30 or 12:30, the most reliable departures. The stargazing pick-up follows the sunset and is confirmed by email.
What happens if the weather cancels one of the private days?
The captain and the guide decide on the day for your safety. If an operator cancels a day, you choose a new date for that day or get that day's deposit refunded in full. The other day stays as booked and keeps the package discount. The stargazing runs in a normal range of mountain conditions; a cancellation is only for conditions that are genuinely unsuitable, which is why we ask you not to book it on your last night.
Can I cancel one of the two private experiences and keep the other?
Yes. Each day follows the cancellation terms of its own product page, which are stricter than for shared tours because a whole boat and a whole evening are reserved for you. Cancel one day inside its free window and that day's deposit is refunded minus the package discount, while the day you keep becomes a normal private booking at its normal price. Cancel both days inside both windows and the full deposit is refunded.
A date looks full or you are inside the 8 days? Check with us first, two operators and a bit of phoning can often still make it work.
Private Package Booking Policy
Thank you for booking the Private Whales & Stars package with Club Canary. The package does not invent new rules: each day keeps the rules of its own product page. These lines only explain how the deposit and the package discount behave.
Deposit, Balance And Confirmation
- The deposit paid online confirms the package. The balance of each experience is paid on its own day: 300€ on board the boat, and the stargazing balance for your group size in cash to the guide. Both amounts are shown next to the option before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email.
- Within 24 hours you receive one confirmation email with both days and one e-ticket per day.
- If one of your days is not available, we offer the nearest alternative before anything is final. If no alternative suits you, the deposit is refunded in full.
Booking And Dates
- 1 to 10 guests per booking, your group only. Larger groups by email.
- Two different days, each at least 8 days after the booking date. Sailing times in the package: 09:30 or 12:30.
- Date changes are free when the new day has space, within each experience's own rescheduling rules. Ask as early as you can.
Cancellation By You
- Each day follows its own cancellation terms, exactly as published on the private Atlantic Star page (free more than 72 hours before, then staged fees) and the private stargazing page (free up to 7 days before, then staged fees). Private experiences have stricter windows than shared tours, because a whole boat and a whole evening are reserved for you.
- The package discount applies only while you keep both days.
- Cancel one day inside its free window: that day's deposit is refunded minus the package discount, and the day you keep becomes a normal private booking at its normal price and deposit. Example: you cancel the stargazing, the Atlantic Star stays booked as a normal 525€ private charter, and you receive the stargazing deposit back minus the discount.
- Cancel one day outside its free window: that day follows its own late cancellation terms, and the day you keep stays at the package price.
- Cancel both days inside both windows: the full deposit is refunded.
Cancellation By The Operator
- Weather and sea conditions are decided by the captain and the guide on the day, for your safety. The stargazing runs in a normal range of mountain conditions; a cancellation is for conditions that are genuinely unsuitable or unsafe.
- If the operator cancels a day, you choose a new date for that day or get that day's deposit refunded in full. The other day stays as booked and keeps the package discount.
- No refund is due for a day that runs but is shortened or changed by conditions on the spot, for example fewer whales, cloud over part of the sky, a lower viewpoint for the telescope session, or a skipped swim stop.
On The Day
- Boat day: be at Puerto Colón 15 minutes before sailing. Late arrival shortens your time on the water, a missed sailing follows the private charter no-show terms.
- Stargazing: be ready at the pick-up point at the time on your ticket with your phone active. A missed pick-up follows the private stargazing no-show terms.
- Follow the crew and the guide. The captain and the guide may adjust or end a trip for safety.
