Important Information
- Bring your Club Canary ticket (digital or printed). The balance is paid on the day, in cash, by card, or by PayPal, directly to the driver on boarding.
- You travel in a private minivan (a Renault Trafic) with up to 8 seats, cleaned after every tour, with fuel included, adjustable air conditioning, and your own music. Groups under 4 may get an upgrade to a newer vehicle, subject to availability. No smoking inside. Your guide will tell you which white minivan to look for.
- The full private Teide trip takes about 4 to 5 hours, and can be quicker if your schedule is tight, or longer if you like. It is fully private, so toilet or coffee breaks and detours are no problem, just say the word.
- The cable car is optional and must be reserved in advance, so let us know when booking. The cable car cost is not included and is paid separately. If needed, we can help arrange the tickets after your booking.
- Give your exact hotel or nearest meeting point when booking (a street name is fine for private accommodation). Pickup in the south is included.
- Further areas: Los Gigantes +40€ on arrival, Puerto de la Cruz from +60€ depending on group size. Message us to confirm.
- The van is not wheelchair accessible, but a folding wheelchair can come along, and your guide will assist you. If you have mobility or hearing needs, tell us when booking so we can adapt the route. Bring warm clothing, the mountains can be cold, especially at sunset.

Can bigger groups do the private Teide tour together?
Yes. The vehicle seats up to 8, but for bigger groups we can often run two vans at the same time, so everyone travels together on the same tour. Please book ahead and let us know your group size, and we will arrange it. For larger or custom groups, message us and we will plan the timing and the vehicles with you.

Deposit & Payment
- A deposit reserves your private guide, vehicle and date, and is part of the total price. The rest is paid on the day, to your guide or driver.
- Because private availability is limited, the deposit is non-transferable to another activity if you cancel late.
Cancellation
- Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 96 hours (4 days) before, by emailing office@clubcanary.com.
- Less than 96 hours before: the deposit is lost. 2 to 3 days before: deposit lost plus 25% of the balance. Less than 2 days before: deposit lost plus 80% of the balance.
- Less than 5 hours before or a no-show: full deposit lost and 100% of the total due, as the guide and vehicle were reserved for you.
Weather & Route
- Routes depend on local weather and roads, and your guide may adjust the itinerary for safety or comfort. If Teide is closed for weather, an alternative or a new date is offered.
- If the tour must be fully cancelled for weather, you get a free reschedule or a full refund.
Behaviour & Support
- Your guide is licensed and experienced, so please follow safety instructions and respect the environment. Guests behaving disrespectfully or under the influence may be refused service without a refund.
