Jet Ski Tenerife: Start Here
The water sport guests of Club Canary book more than any other, and the one with the best reviews on this page. Guided ocean rides, free hotel pickup in the south, and a private option for groups. Prices are per jet ski, and two people can share one.
2 HoursOur Pick
The 2-Hour Jet Ski Safari
The flagship of this whole page. A guided 60 km ocean route along the south coast from Las Galletas, free hotel pickup in southern Tenerife, and driver swaps on the doubles. First time on a jet ski? This is the one we book for our own friends.
1 HourBest Value
The 1-Hour Jet Ski Ride
Pure action without giving up half a day: a guided open ocean hour from Las Galletas with free pickup in the south. Perfect when several friends each want their own machine, or when the budget says one hour, not two.
1 Or 2 HoursVIP
The Private Jet Ski Trip
No other customers. A guide boat for your group alone, premium Sea-Doo jet skis, and action photos included free, with the compliments of Club Canary. Birthdays, stag and hen groups, and families who want the sea to themselves.
Two More Jet Ski Starts, Depending On Where You Stay
Staying in Costa Adeje or Las Américas? The Costa Adeje jet ski leaves from Puerto Colón, so you walk there. A daily 1 hour ride, plus a 3 hour route toward Los Gigantes on selected days. From 90€ per jet ski, no pickup.
Staying west? The Los Gigantes jet ski safari starts right under the cliffs, the most dramatic backdrop on the island. From 130€ per jet ski, about 1 hour.
Our jet ski hub puts all five trips side by side with the honest advice on which one to pick.
Water Fun At Puerto Colón: Fly, Bounce, Ride
The classic beach holiday water sports, all from the Puerto Colón harbour in Costa Adeje. Short, cheap, and easy to combine: many guests do parasailing and a banana boat on the same morning.
ParasailingFamily Favourite
Parasailing Costa Adeje
About ten minutes in the air, up to around 50 metres above the Atlantic, with the whole Costa Adeje coast under your feet. Ages 3 to 80 can fly, alone or in pairs, and spectators ride along on the boat for less. The most booked water fun on this page.
Banana Boat
Banana Boat Puerto Colón
The cheapest laugh on the island. A towed banana for groups from 3 to 12, ten or twenty minutes of bouncing, and yes, you will fall in. Basic swimming skills needed, life vests included.
Flying Fish
Flying Fish Ride
The banana boat's wilder cousin: a towed inflatable with wings that actually lifts off the water. Up to three riders at a time, about ten minutes, and the one teenagers ask for twice.
Flyboard
Flyboarding Session
Stand on a board, water jets under your feet, and fly a few metres above the sea. Twenty minutes with a multilingual instructor, and most people are up and hovering before the session ends. Ages 16 to 65, basic swimming needed.
Wakeboard
Wakeboarding Session
Ocean wakeboarding behind a proper tow boat, 20 minutes of riding per person, board, vest and helmet included. Honest note: this one is for riders with some experience, the open sea is not a flat lake. Groups can take the whole boat privately.
Under The Surface: Snorkel, Kayak & Dive
Tenerife's south coast has turtles, rays, octopus, and the occasional pod of dolphins passing a kayak. These are the trips for people who want to see what lives here, not just race over it.
Snorkel Boat TripMarine Life Pick
Snorkel With Turtles
A small group boat snorkel trip, maximum ten guests, about 50 minutes in the water. Honest as always: the turtles are wild, so the chance of seeing one is around 30 percent, and the fish, rays and sometimes dolphins fill the rest. Confident swimmers from 8 years.
Kayak + Snorkel
Kayaking Tenerife
About two hours of paddling from Los Cristianos with a snorkel stop built in. Turtles are likely on this one, dolphins are a maybe, and it is the best value marine trip on the page. Ages 6 to 65, and this is the Atlantic, not a pool, so expect some waves.
Try Dive
Beginner Try Dive
Your first time breathing underwater, with an instructor next to you the whole time. A boat dive from Puerto Colón down to 8 metres, 20 or 40 minutes under, with rays and octopus if you are lucky. No diving certificate needed, from 8 years.
PADI Course
PADI Open Water Course
Come home with a diving certificate valid worldwide. Two days in Los Cristianos, four ocean dives plus a skills session, down to 18 metres. Ages 10 to 70. The best holiday souvenir we sell, and the one guests write to us about months later.
Fishing Trips From Puerto Colón
Tuna, marlin and more, depending on the season. One shared boat for everyone, and a private charter for groups who want to keep the catch.
Shared Trip
Tenerife Fishing Trip
Four hours of sea fishing on a proper sports fishing boat, morning or afternoon, up to 8 guests. Rods and bait covered. Partners who just want the boat day pay the spectator price and still get the sunshine.
Private Charter
Private Fishing Charter
The whole boat for your group, up to 10 guests, from four hours. Gear, licence and drinks included, and you keep your catch. The right pick for a family or a group of mates who want the deck to themselves.
Surf Sports: Las Américas And El Médano
Beginner surf lessons on the Las Américas beach break, and the wind sports where the wind actually lives: El Médano, one of Europe's best known kite and windsurf spots.
Surf LessonBeginner Pick
Surf Lessons Playa de las Américas
Around two hours on a gentle beach break with small groups of about six, board, wetsuit and shoes included, in English, Spanish or Italian. Most beginners stand up in the first lesson. Group lessons from 13, private lessons from 8 years.
4 Sports, 1 Session
Try All 4 Surf Sports
The highest rated card on this page. Two private hours in El Médano trying windsurf, wing foil, kitesurf and surf, so you find out which one is yours before paying for a full course. Groups of 2 to 6, ages 8 to 70.
Kitesurf
Kitesurf Lessons El Médano
Private beginner lessons in 3, 6 or 9 hour packages, 1 to 4 people per instructor, gear included. Kitesurfing takes a few sessions to click, so the 6 hour package is the honest recommendation for a first week. Wind dependent, ages 8 to 70.
Windsurf
Windsurf Lessons El Médano
Lessons for all levels in 3, 6 or 9 hour packages, 1 to 4 per instructor, daily from 10:00 to 16:00, taught in up to 7 languages. Easier to start than kite, and El Médano's bay is the place to do it.

Book Water Sports In Tenerife With A Local Team
Booking water sports in Tenerife with Club Canary is a strong choice if you want real prices and honest advice. Our team is based in Costa Adeje and works directly with the licensed local operators who run each activity. So we can match your group, ages, and budget to the right water sport before you pay anything.
Small Deposit, Rest On The Day, Best Price Guarantee
Every price on this page is the real starting price, with no hidden fees at the harbour. You reserve with a small deposit online and pay the rest on arrival. And every booking comes with the Club Canary Best Price Guarantee, so you never pay more than you would on the beach.
Why Book Your Water Sports With Club Canary?
Let us be direct, because you have options: the hotel desk, a seller on the beach, a global platform, or a local team. Club Canary is a licensed local agency, born in the Canary Islands in 2019, with a real office in Plaza del Duque, Costa Adeje. Here is the honest difference.
One graph, all the difference. This is why you book your water sports with Club Canary:

| What Matters | Hotel Desk | Beach Sellers | Platforms | Club Canary |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Support hours | Office shifts only | Until the stand closes | Call centre queue | Every day, 08:00 to 22:00 |
| Sea too rough | Not their job | Come back tomorrow | A refund form | We move you, or your deposit comes back |
| Honest fit for your group | Whatever is on the list | Whatever pays the most | No | We tell you what fits your ages and budget |
| Local knowledge | General | Good | None | We live here, we tried the activities |
| Prices | Fixed | Start high, then discount | Fees added at checkout | Real prices, Best Price Guarantee |
| Water sports + boats + tours | No | Sometimes | No | One team for everything |
The biggest difference is simple: Club Canary is neutral. We are a booking agent, not the operator, so we recommend the activity that fits you, not the one that pays the most. And bookings are noted, saved, and confirmed from our office, not scribbled on a clipboard at the beach.
One honest tip, whoever you book with: check the company itself on Google or Trustpilot, and check that it has a real local office you can visit. Reviews about a jet ski are not the same as reviews about the service behind it.
Every price on this page is the price you pay. The photos are from the actual activities, not stock images.
Full online booking with fast confirmation, or WhatsApp and live chat with a real local person.
Tell us your ages, swimming level and budget. We recommend what fits, and we say it when something does not.
Deposit, cancellation, age limits, and weather rules written in plain language on every activity page.
Every activity here is run by a registered, insured local company. No beach cowboys.
Find the same activity cheaper elsewhere? Tell us, and we will sort it out.
Where Water Sports Happen In Tenerife
Here is the honest geography. Almost everything happens in the south, where the sea is calm and the sun is reliable. Nothing on this page departs from Puerto de la Cruz or Santa Cruz. Staying north? The drive south takes about an hour, and the jet ski trips include pickup across the south only.
The Five Water Sports Spots, And What Runs Where
The main harbour. Parasailing, banana boat, flying fish, flyboard, wakeboarding, the try dive, both fishing trips, and the Costa Adeje jet ski. Walkable from most Costa Adeje and Las Américas hotels.
Home of the two jet ski trips with free south pickup: the 2 hour safari and the 1 hour ride. Quieter harbour, open ocean right outside.
The kayak and snorkel trip, and the PADI Open Water course.
The wind capital: kitesurf, windsurf, wing foil, and the try all 4 session. About 20 minutes east of Las Américas.
Surf lessons on the gentle beach break in front of the resorts.
The jet ski safari under the 600 metre cliffs, for guests staying on the west coast.
Our Honest Advice: Which Water Sport For You?
This is the advice we give across the desk in Costa Adeje every day. Honest, with no sugar on it. Still in doubt? Message us and we will tell you straight.
The 2 hour jet ski safari. Long route, open ocean, free pickup. Nothing else on this page comes close for thrill per euro.
Parasailing first: ages 3 to 80 can fly, and the little ones go up in a pair with a parent. Then the banana boat from 10 years. The kayak trip works from 6.
Banana boat and flying fish on the same morning, then the jet ski safari as a passenger, or driving from 16. Flyboard from 16 if they want to show off.
The kayak trip for value and likely turtles, the snorkel boat for a smaller group, the try dive to actually go under. Want whales? That is a boat trip, not a water sport.
Parasailing and the fishing trip. You never leave the boat on either. Everything else here needs at least basic swimming.
Banana boat or flying fish. Twenty minutes of fun for the price of a lunch, and the stories last longer.
Surf lessons if you are staying in Las Américas, the try all 4 session in El Médano if you cannot decide, and the PADI course if you want a certificate for life.
The private jet ski trip with photos included, or the private fishing charter. Both take the whole boat for your group only.
Then you want our private boats or a whale watching trip. Same team, same honest advice.
